An afternoon on the farm

0028A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of heading out to a farm to photograph my dear friend and her beloved horse.  We had been sharing ideas and Pinterest posts for a while and it was awesome to see that we both liked the same ideas for her session.

The purpose of this session was to capture the beautiful relationship that Roberta has with her horse.  From feeding him treats to brushing him, her kind words and motions truly showed how much she cares for her horse.

As we planned our session, we chose to do a combination of images that would be caught in the moment and images in which I posed both Roberta and the horse. Thanks again for a beautiful afternoon. To see more pet images, please visit our website at
