Making Memories with our Furry Family Members in Moline, IL

DSC_9448galleryFor as long as I can remember, we’ve always had a cat or a dog.  As I grew up, there was always a cat who would snuggle with me at night.  A dog who would comfort me when I was sad.

Very rarely, am I editing images or designing an album without a cat sprawled across my desk, sunning himself under the warm desk lamp.

Every pet owner has a story about their furry family member.  Our pets are an integral part of our lives and its vital to include them in our photo collection; whether its a snap shot from a phone or a formal portrait.

DSC_9390uploadAs a photographer, my job is to tell the story of what is in front of me.When animals are part of a session; I work patiently to capture the personality of the dog or other pet.  I also want to show the relationship the pet has with its owners.  The final images are heirlooms that families can enjoy for generations to come.

This year, Francescon Portraiture and 15th Avenue Christian Church, are teaming up to provide a very special memory for your family and pets.

Many places that offer the opportunity for children to have their portraits made with Santa often leave out a very important family member; our four legged friends.

This year, we are changing that and inviting families to bring their pets (and children) to visit Santa.  I’m thrilled to be a part of this event.  Not only are we creating a fun experience and new memories for families; but this is a chance to also give back to the community.

When a canned good is brought to the event, a complimentary 5×7 will be given to the family.  All canned goods will be donated to the Christian Friendliness Food Pantry.  http://cfyouthhope.org/food-pantry/

A portion of the package sales will also be donated to The Place 2B – an organization that works with at-risk and homeless teens.  http://theplace2b.org/

So, mark the 23rd on your calendar and I look forward to seeing you at the Santa Paws is Coming to Town Event.
