Time to Dance at Captured Moments Photography

The Lines!   The Shapes!  The Poses!  The Costumes!

One of my favorite subjects to photograph is dancers! From my own daughters to high school seniors, I  truly enjoy working with those who show their creativity through music and movement.

Here at the studio, we offer a variety of options for both dance studios and individual dancers. I love working with dance studios.  Okay, I like to see all the pretty costumes. Recital time is a busy and hectic time of the year; but the energy is fantastic.

Studios have a couple of options for their portraits.  First, there is the traditional dance portraits that can be captured.  For older dancers, a second date can be set for Elite Portraits.  Elite sessions are different from traditional portraiture. The lighting is more dramatic, as are the poses.

Why should dance studios book their portraits with Captured Moments Photography?  The benefits are endless! In addition to professional portraiture, studios receive:

  • Wall portraits for their studio walls
  • Custom designed show posters
  • Digital files of all the individual images that have been purchased; plus all of the group portraits
  • A percentage of the sales
  • On site viewing and ordering the day of pictures
  • Quick turn around of images

Another option for dancers is to grab the tutus and slippers and hit the town!  We’ll go to the parks, downtown, along the river and anywhere else the dancer may choose.  These sessions are offered to all dancers – whether Captured Moments is working with their studio or not. The possibilities are endless!
