Dog Days of Summer to benefit P.A.W.D. Moline IL

Yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the P.A.W.D. open house at Salata Pet Supply in Milan IL.   What a wonderful opportunity to check out the new store, meet all the service dogs, and make new friends with dogs and their owners.

P.a.w.’d is a non- profit organization that trains service dogs for people with disabilities, as well as certify Therapy Dog Teams for people and their own dogs. We offer puppy, basic and advanced obedience classes.  All of the training and placements are with the disabled in the Quad City Area. By working with individuals and their specific needs each team has a custom training program. All of the dogs go through basic training, but the skills taught to each dog will be unique to their partner’s needs and abilities.

For more information on P.a.w.’d, please visit the website at:

Although just pups, Tucker and Oden will grow up to be service dogs!
